Abstracts.... or rather, Emotional Landscapes
Did you think I meant landscapes with happy little trees, puffy clouds, and babbling brooks? A landscape is not the same to any two people; it is altered by perception. These are emotional landscapes, and as such, involves people.

Gallus. Being fed while blinded nourishes the body but not the soul. Sold

Bertrand's Search for Truth. A faceless dark figure shines his light to pierce the darkness, searching for universal truths that elude us all. (The idea for this painting came to me after reading the graphic novel "Logicomix", which I highly recommend!). $400

The Ordeal. Faces and eyes wherever you choose to see them. A lone figure is set to traverse a harsh landscape under a watchful eye. (Interesting anecdote: a friend of mine said she saw "A man giving a woman bad news" in this painting....ok...;-))
